Description

This course introduces students to the field of medical assisting. Concepts of effective communication and professionalism will be emphasized. Students will also participate in competency-based keyboarding curriculum. In order to pass this course, students must demonstrate keyboarding proficiency by keying at least 35 words per minute with 3 errors or less on a five-minute timed writing.
