Description

Students will explore how stigma related to involvement in the justice system has created barriers and challenges in accessing and engaging in desired employment and career pathways. Students will gain an understanding of their rights as job seekers, gain skills of how best to disclose and talk about justice involvement with an employer and navigate those often tricky waters of not sharing enough or disclosing too much. Throughout the course, students will be working towards a vision of their path to meaningful employment, while developing a personal roadmap of how to get there.
