Description

This course is designed to introduce the student to shielded metal arc welding with emphasis on safety in the workplace. It will introduce students to proper safety practices, habits, and attitudes in shop areas. It will focus on using machines and equipment, electrode identification, and oxygen and acetylene cutting and welding in all positions using 11018 electrode.
