Description

This capstone course is designed to integrate learning from previous semesters. Students will utilize their knowledge and skills to recognize disease processes, medical treatment, medication interactions, signs, symptoms and outcomes of common diseases. This course will integrate current patient topics and thinking about etiology, prognosis, and clinical practice of medicine. A holistic, interdisciplinary approach to patient centered care, education, and quality will be utilized. This course must be passed with a B- or better. Prerequisite: MDT125, MDT136, MDT228, and MDT236, or with instructor permission.
