Description

This course will prepare students to collect, handle, and analyze a blood specimens according to CLSI standards. Students will also learn to follow safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, and CDC precautions. The fundamentals of infection control in healthcare and sterile procedures will be included. Pre-requisite/Co-requisite: MDT125 Medical Terminology, or instructor permission.
